Aileen specialises in all work relating to children, in both private and public law. Her private law work includes residence and contact disputes, as well as abduction cases. Her public law work involves representing various local authorities, guardians and parents /relatives, in a variety of care cases ranging from fictitious illness syndrome, to sexual abuse and long term neglect. She appears at all levels of court from the Family Proceedings Court to the Court of Appeal. She has lectured on the new Adoption and Children Act 2002, and is regularly instructed in adoption cases.
Personal Injury
Aileen’s Personal Injury practice is a well established claimant practice covering workplace accidents/diseases, road traffic accidents, occupier’s liability work and CICA cases.
Aileen is an approved pupil supervisor.

Aileen’s passions are travel and playing and watching sport. She enjoys keeping fit by running , playing tennis, and snowboarding, and is a qualified personal trainer.
